Some people want to change the world through random acts of kindness. I want to change the world through random acts of awesomeness and fun. In life, I find many adults these days have forgotten about fun. This website is all about things I consider fun. As a kid I was always into imaginative things. I grew up on a block where I had a handful of girl friends around my same age, and, boy, did we have fun. We rode bikes and when we were finished riding them, we turned our bikes upside down and pretended they were ice-cream makers. I also remember watching the Carol Burnette show and wanting to be just like her. I also got to watch Saturday Night Live, back when it was still good. I watched Roseanne a danna danna and I imagined myself getting to Hollywood...not really...yeah I saw myself on SNL...but truly I realized in my heart that I am not cut out for the business aspect of "The Biz". However, that doesn't mean I ought to give it up. On the contrary. I feel like if we deny our passions we risk losing ourselves in an ocean of dispare. I am so very graeful that at this time in my life I get to make art for the sheer joy of making art. And hopefully, someone along the way might also be touched by some lyric or some piece of theater that I wrote, and for a brief moment we are connected soul to soul. So I dedicate this blogsite for the things I hold dear. Theater. Music. Dance, really the telling and the retelling of the stories that touch our hearts or that tickle our funny bones or that just remind us that we really are more the same than different. So, kick off your shoes. Sit on the sofa. Put your feet up and just you be you. And together we'll just be two (or more) human beings.
